Chapter 2966 - 963_2

Chapter 2966 - 963_2

Since there was fundamentally no way to gain an advantage over the Light God King in the Paradise world, Zhou Tian’s plan naturally had no reason to continue. After all, the Light God King was not a weak opponent at the time, and with the other party already aware of his strength, threatening their safety from all aspects seemed to be an arduous task. Thus, since Zhou Tian could not weaken the Light God King’s strength at that time, he had to find another way from the remaining opposing combat powers.

Faced with opponents that Zhou Tian could not weaken in advance, he naturally had to focus on weakening the future enemies that his angels might encounter.

Based on the thoughts at the time, the first targets Zhou Tian set his eyes on were the modified angels, as they accounted for a significant portion of the resistance Zhou Tian faced, making it impossible not to notice them during actions.

However, Zhou Tian merely had that thought, and shortly after thinking about those modified angels, he decided to abandon the idea of targeting them.

The logic was simple, although those modified angels were not weak at the time, from Zhou Tian and his angels’ perspective, their individual strength did not quite stand out. The reason why those modified angels were such a threat to Zhou Tian at the time was simply due to their vast numbers. Without the despairing number of modified angels in the Paradise world, Zhou Tian might not have taken them seriously.

Judging by the situation at the time, not mentioning that most of those modified angels lived in the Paradise world, anyone cautious to enter Paradise would find no opportunity to deal with these modified angels.

Even if the modified angels offered Zhou Tian an opportunity to deal with them, given their numbers, Zhou Tian understood clearly that regardless of his efforts, the number of modified angels he could kill was destined to be limited. Their vast numbers meant it was impossible to reduce their overall strength in a short period.

Hence, even if Zhou Tian wanted to weaken the modified angels’ strength, faced with such circumstances, he promptly abandoned such thoughts. Although he was reluctant to admit it, given the situation of those modified angels at the time, Zhou Tian realized that weakening their strength was nearly an impossible task.

So, given the situation, as it seemed Zhou Tian could not weaken the modified angels’ strength, he had to find other targets at that time.

After thorough research, Zhou Tian eventually recognized that there was only one feasible target, namely the deities under the Light God King’s command.

Unlike other combat powers, to weaken the resistance resulting from the annexation of the Paradise world, Zhou Tian had to face obstacles mostly residing within Paradise. If those beings primarily operated in Paradise world, Zhou Tian certainly wouldn’t find any chance for action.

The deities under the Light God King were different.

No matter what, the Light God King had a substantial territory in the Divine Realm. Although modified angel armies existed within these territories, given the situation, unless the Light God King was out of his mind, it appeared unlikely that he would leave his territory to those modified angels for management.

It was natural then, regardless of the assistance the modified angels provided to Zhou Tian, that the real managers under the Light God King’s command were still a group of defected deities loyal to him.

In normal circumstances, even the Paradise world management was handed over to those deities by the Light God King. Although the most critical power in the Light God King’s hand were those modified angels, the number of deities was substantial. It was through the deities’ power that the Light God King maintained such a vast territory. Otherwise, given the IQ of the modified angels, no matter how large the territory, good management would be impossible for the Light God King.

Generally, the deities under the Light God King were akin to managing leaders, only making decisions on minor matters, while combat situations typically didn’t require their involvement.

However, in true crisis situations, a single command from the Light God King could mobilize many deities, even if their numbers were fewer compared to the modified angels.

In terms of sheer numbers, naturally, the deities under the Light God King couldn’t compare to the modified angels, but when discussing true powerhouses, despite the large number of modified angels, true strong members arguably paled in comparison to the deities.

Initially, Zhou Tian’s angels fell into defeat despite nearing mission completion due to the sudden increase in the number of modified angels they faced. Another key reason was the large-scale mobilization of deities by the Light God King.

Given the situation at the time, if Zhou Tian intended to continue his plan, theoretically, dealing with those deities was indeed a good choice.

Dealing with the modified angels without reducing most of their numbers made any effort meaningless. Clearly, given their numbers, eradicating that many modified angels was nearly impossible.

Given the situation, as the modified angels were foundational to the Human Sea Tactic, Zhou Tian couldn’t weaken their strength; thus, he had to decrease the number of deities instead.

In battles against the modified angels, Zhou Tian’s angels had the advantage of stronger power. If not for being unable to retreat and only forced into a consumption battle, the modified angels would find it impossible to annihilate Zhou Tian’s angels.

Simply put, if fighting the modified angels alone, by slightly boosting the strength of his angels and devising corresponding plans without outside influence, relying on their ability, based on the modified angels’ intellect, Zhou Tian had full confidence to guarantee that his angels, though unable to eradicate all modified angels, could certainly engage them in guerrilla warfare.

Given the situation at the time, even if both sides engaged in guerrilla warfare, as long as Zhou Tian’s angels continued to fight those modified angels, Zhou Tian’s plan to inject Abyssal Rules into Paradise was bound to be achievable.

Once situation really develops like that, it naturally represents the Success of Zhou Tian’s plan. At that point, even the unwillingness of the Paradise consciousness and the Light God King would be powerless to prevent Zhou Tian’s action of annexing Paradise world from proceeding.
