"So that’s all you’ve got."

Looking at the rattled Alexander, Gu Xi said with a smile.

He’d already seen through it: Alexander’s ability was to transfer the Power of statues and monuments onto himself.

Because he’d transferred too much Power, his body had partially turned into a Stone Statue.

Now the color on his body had been beaten back to normal.

That meant the Power he had just drawn from those statues and monuments had been used up; what remained now was his own Power.

Even though he understood what was going on, Gu Xi had no intention of letting Alexander recover his Combat Power.

The guy in front of him was way too arrogant. He didn’t even bring a single underling, and still dared jump into the fight alone.

To Gu Xi, that was basically an idiot provoking him.

So after the first strike landed, Gu Xi didn’t idle; he immediately launched the second move.

"Telekinesis!"

This was Gu Xi’s first time using this move.

But Gu Xi controlled the Spirit Lamp, and he also had the Fox Eye Ring; he’d long since trained his Spirit-type abilities, so even though he’d just learned this move, he handled it with ease.

Under Gu Xi’s control, a statue’s arm vanished from the statue and appeared directly inside Alexander’s stomach.

If he hadn’t been so far away, Gu Xi would’ve loved to send a few steel needles straight into the enemy’s Heart.

This strike alone nearly beat Alexander half to death on the spot.

He lowered his head to look at his stomach, where a clearly arm-shaped bulge had appeared.

Alexander, who’d originally wanted to fight back, froze on the spot.

Then that arm seemed to come alive, writhing nonstop inside Alexander’s body, trying to rip open his abdomen.

The sight even startled Gu Xi; he wasn’t entirely sure what was going on.

In fact, Gu Xi had stumbled right into Alexander’s biggest weak point by sheer accident.

Alexander had only become what he was now by absorbing all the Power stored in and around the rear courtyard of Westminster Cathedral.

He’d merely absorbed the Power, not Digested it. Those Powers didn’t actually belong to him, but to the monuments of artists and scientists outside, to the statues of kings and Heroes throughout the ages.

Those Powers didn’t truly acknowledge Alexander’s body.

He’d just used some special method to forcibly fuse that Power into himself.

Now that Gu Xi had sent an arm belonging to a statue into Alexander’s body, all that unwilling Power finally had an outlet and kept pouring itself into that arm.

In an instant, the arm turned hyperactive, tearing at Alexander’s internal organs from within.

Alexander himself wasn’t actually strong; all his Power and confidence came from those statues. Faced with this situation, Alexander panicked.

He slammed his hand viciously into his own abdomen, trying to smash the arm inside to pieces.

In his mind, as long as he shattered this arm, he could then Digest the Power concentrated in it using his own method.

By then, the Power that had refused to submit would be completely absorbed by him.

At that point, he’d control all the Power he’d previously been unable to handle.

But Alexander never expected that once Gu Xi struck and felt how fun it was, he’d start getting fancy.

The Vanguard Power - Shattering Array that had just rushed out and sent Alexander flying returned to hover before Gu Xi again.

Gu Xi pointed at the Longsword.

The Longsword vanished right in front of him.

This time, Gu Xi once again tapped into the Power of Telekinesis.

Only now he sent Vanguard Power - Shattering Array directly into Alexander’s body.

At the same time, the Equipment Carrier of Vanguard Power - Shattering Array activated the weapon’s third Skills.

Shattering Strike.

This strike turned Vanguard Power - Shattering Array into fragments and fired them out in a fan-shaped spread, Attacking all enemies in front.

But now that Vanguard Power - Shattering Array had been sent into Alexander’s body, all that fragment Impact landed squarely on his internal organs.

Gu Xi only heard a wet squelch as a mass of Longsword fragments burst out of Alexander’s back.

If you were standing behind Alexander right now, you’d see his body blasted open into a giant hole.

Through that newly blasted hole, the arm sent into Alexander’s body seized its chance to crawl out, climbing up along his back, then slammed a heavy fist down onto Alexander’s head.

By the time that blow landed, Alexander was already so gravely injured he didn’t even have the Power to raise a Defense.

Hit by that punch, Alexander’s head exploded like a watermelon and he crashed heavily to the ground.

Then a bolt of Lightning struck the arm that was trying to escape. The Bone Titan reached out, grabbed the arm, and dragged it over to Gu Xi.

With this kill finished, a faint smile appeared on Gu Xi’s face.

"Finally done with this fight. But looks like I still missed a few quests... don’t tell me I’ll have to run this place again later?"

Just as Gu Xi was muttering to himself, the Bone Titan brought the Lightning-struck arm over and held it out to him.

Gu Xi took the arm and saw it was a left arm wreathed in Lightning. Although the whole thing was Stone, it was surprisingly flexible.

It was obvious this thing could be used to complete Gu Xi’s temporary quest:

[Sealed Power].

Unfortunately, what Gu Xi lacked right now wasn’t arm components but waist and right-leg components.

So a high-quality arm component like this was a bit of a waste for him.

With a sigh, Gu Xi flipped his hand, planning to put the arm away.

But he never expected that this arm would still try to fight him. Just as he was about to store it, the arm suddenly twisted around, trying to grab Gu Xi’s arm.

Gu Xi tightened his grip and smashed the arm to the ground.

Seeing the arm trying to crawl away, Gu Xi stepped forward and stomped on it, then took out the arm that had activated [Temporary Quest: Sealed Power] and pressed it hard against the Stone arm.

In the next instant, all the Power inside the arm was drawn out by that black arm with the Red five-pointed star at the deltoid, leaving it nothing but Stone in the end.
