Chapter 3602 Called Over

Alex had no need to take care of the newborn pill bugs himself. So long as he properly fed their mothers, they would raise the 70-odd pill bugs all by themselves. As such, Alex was free to do something else entirely while the pill bugs were raised elsewhere. Now that the matter of the pill bugs had passed as well, he took his time coming up with a list of things he still had to do.

The thing he wanted to do immediately was start doing experiments regarding Unity. But for that, he would require a bit of preparation. He would either have to rip out his Spirit roots or make them not work for a small period of time.

For that to happen, he needed to make various pills. That would take some time.

Aside from Unity, he needed to complete learning Sun Fire. He was so close to it that it didn't make sense to put it on pause anymore. It would certainly take a decade or so still to completely learn it, but that could be the time he spent making the pills in preparation for learning Unity.

There was also the matter of completing the rest of his Origins, but that would happen on its own. What he would have to work on actively would be finding a way to improve the Blood Beasts. If he could make them improve, that would be incredible.

There was also the matter of starting his journey on learning how to make artifacts, but he wanted to wait a while before starting that. From what he had learned from the Sky God, Shen Yaojia had been sent a message regarding his arrival in this world, so soon enough she would hear about him and come over.

Once she arrived, he could learn how to make artifacts directly in the presence of one of the greatest Artifact makers currently alive.

With that decided, Alex started his cultivation sessions to learn Sun Fire first and foremost.

With the fire burning within his Soul Space, Alex could make an opening to it at any time he wanted and learn it directly through there. Learning something that was in a separate space wasn't as easy, but Alex made it work. He had already learned most of it, so what remained wouldn't bother him even if it was in a separate space.

Months passed quickly, and Alex progressed quite far in learning Sun Fire. At the same time, he came up with various recipes to alter his Spirit roots that he would have to make the pills for later on.

Since most of those pills would require ingredients he didn't have, he might have to leave the Sky God's palace at some point to visit some cities outside.

He also briefly touched on some of his other Origins, but he hardly spent much time there as he found Sun Fire to be the most important thing to finish gaining.

Around 2 years later, the pill bugs had finally grown to an adult size, so it was time to start Fastening them once again.

Fastening the pill bugs barely took any time out of the ordinary at all. All he had to do was bleed once or twice a week for them, and that was enough. And while it may have been a troublesome matter for anyone else who couldn't restore their Blood aura easily, it wasn't even worth mentioning for Alex.

In fact, bleeding himself dry for the sake of feeding the now-grown pill bugs was rather helpful for his cultivation sessions.

Thanks to that, Alex managed to reach the Immortal Transcendent 3rd realm sooner than he had expected. The very month he broke through, Bladedance sent him a message calling him to meet her in a week's time.

Alex wanted to keep learning Sun Fire, but since his master had called for him, he decided to go meet her.

One week later, Alex found himself standing in a massive training area with large glowing barriers on all sides surrounding him. The only other person inside the training area was Bladedance, who had called him over.

Alex looked around the place for a while, quite confused about why he was there.

"Why did you call me here, Master?" Alex asked. "Are we going to fight and train?"

"How has your time been with your family?" Bladedance asked. "I haven't really had a chance to meet them since the first time around."

"It's been great, Master," Alex said with a genuine smile on his face. "I'm sorry they've been absent recently. Most of them are busy cultivating within my Soul Space. You haven't had the chance to see the changes I've made, have you?"

"No. I've been busy cultivating myself. I only just left my cultivation session, and I thought it had been long enough for you to start focusing on your cultivation as well."

"I have been cultivating diligently, Master. You can sense my improvement, can't you?" Alex asked as he showed off his new cultivation base.

"I can. That's mainly why I decided to call you over. Since you've broken through, you should have the free time to train. And as your master, it is my duty to teach you a lot, which I haven't really paid attention to for a while."

Alex blinked for a moment. "Did you call me here to teach me something?" he asked. "That's not necessary really. You've already taught me as much as I need. And on the matters of Dao Sword and One with the Sword, I don't think you can teach me anything, can you?"

Bladedance shook her head. "This isn't about your sword stages. This is about teaching you some techniques instead." She reached into her Soul Space and brought out two talismans. She stared at the two talismans for a while, and after thinking for a moment, she threw them both toward him.

Alex grabbed the talismans out of the air and looked into them. Reading in, he read the names of two techniques.

The first was called Falling Rain Blossom, and the second was called Sword Heart Breaker.
